1. Using the oval template, draw an oval in the center of your foam board.

2. Using the Exacto Knife, cut out the oval opening.

3. Lay the foam board over the brown cardstock and make an outline of the opening.

4. Cut the matching opening in the brown cardstock.

5. Attach the acetate over the oval opening to create the shaker window.

6. Attach the brown cardstock over the acetate to create the background for the front of the shaker.

7. Stamp the faries and flowers on white cardstock.

8. Color the images and cut out using the exacto knife.

9. Attach the fairies and flowers to the front of the shaker card.

10. Stamp the lake image on a piece of white cardstock 4.25" x 5.5".

11. Color the image of the lake as desired.

12. Using the glitter glue, apply the glitter in the desired areas of the shaker.

I applied to the fairy wings, flowers, and the water of the lake.

13. Place the shaker face down and fill with the desired items.

Do not use too many items, as it will become difficult

to shake them and it may cover too much of the background image.

14. Create a good seal around the oval and to the edge of the card.

15. Attach the image of the lake to the back of the card.

16. Allow the shaker to dry if you have used glue.

When using glue be sure not to exceed the edge of the oval.

Often your shaker items will become stuck to the glue if you do not allow it to dry.

17. You may attach a plain card to the back for a long message,

or you can write on the back of the shaker.

You may also opt to use picture stand on the back so the shaker may be displayed on a shelf or table.
