Casein Paint
Materials Needed:
2 parts casein glue (white household glue)
1 part water
Powdered pigments, poster paints, or opaque qatercolors
Instructions:
1) Mix milk and water in a bowl, stirring until milk is dissolved.
2) Combine only as much solution with powdered pigments as you will use at one sitting.
Makes 3/4 cup. Use water to think paint and to clean brushes. Store in a tightly capped jar in the refrigerator.
